Alcarin Lore

Town By The Ocean

I drove down to that town by the ocean
Two hours in traffic was worth every mile
I didn't have to worry when I'd see you again
I didn't wonder when I'd see your smile

We kissed in the street
Our lips led the embrace
It's not a race, but we can't be beat

We walked downtown to pass the time
Past the docks where the air smells of salt
But I can smell something else sublime
But there's no need to worry, we won't halt

In our cars we sing, we kiss, we say goodbye
In our hearts we sing, we kiss, we fly
